Your Lie in April: A review

Your Lie in April is an experience that leaves you both enchanted and bereft as you explore the colours of binary piano keys and the complex relationships and histories of its characters. Hard hitting and thought provoking from the get go Your Lie in April is well worth the time it takes to watch.

Art Style:

By and large I thought the art style for this anime was gorgeous, switching between binary black and whites and bursting with warm glowing colours, Your Lie in April makes full use of its available colour palette. I did at times find the close up shots to be somewhat creepy rather than cute and at times I found certain changes in character portrayal a little jarring. Barring these minor issues however I think the art style is a real strength of this Anime.

There really isn’t much more to say, I loved my time with this Anime through all the ups and downs and twists and turns the story held and can easily recommend it to fans of Anime, Music and good storytelling alike!
